I was dreaming of a shooting like this ever since last year when I saw the internet filled with pictures from Provence and it’s amazing purple fields. Luckily we didn’t have to go all the way to France to see these amazing fields, because believe it or not, Romania has the perfect climate to grow this amazing plant too. Hopefully next year I will shoot on my very own plantation because my mom is obsessed with lavender and has already started plating her own little field.
In contrast with the beautiful purple background I was wearing a lovely flowy dress from Oana Nutu in a lime tone. It is the perfect dress for a summer garden wedding making you stand out with its vibrant colour. It is super light and easy to wear and I love ruffled detail that makes it look cute and playful. The colour is so delish that it instantly makes me think of a cup of sweet sour lime sorbet. Her creations can be found at her studio and also at the Cocor at the Romanian Designers’ gallery.
I have accessorized my summer look with my all time favourite Pandora jewelry from this summer collection that is by far one of my favourites. Simple and shimmering at the same time, the blue and minty colours remind me of the clear waters of the sea or ocean sparkling in the light of the sun. I absolutely loved the big statement ring with minty stones imitating the drops of water perfectly and Adrian caught a lovely close up of it with a bee trying to take the pollen out of it. The little flower ring combines tenderness with the traditional oriental spirit. I could just imagine myself scuba diving in the ocean whilst wearing these amazing charms. They don’t look too bad either next to the basket filled with my lavender harvest.
