Chefchaouen

This city is indeed the highlight of my Moroccan trip and I had a moment of pinch me when we were getting close to the city and saw the blue hill from the road. Everything is painted in white and blue, but mostly blue and it looks like this city surrounded by mountains got sunk in the ocean. It is a feast for the eyes and I couldn’t been happier to spend three days in this amazing place. In here we ate for the first time Amlou with Moroccan pancakes and then we tried and recreate it at home. Amlou is a paste made out of argan oil, almonds and honey. It tastes really amazing if you find good argan oil to make it with.

In order to blend in with the gorgeous shades of blue from the city, I wore this lace blue/grey dress from Chicwish. I simply love its feminine cut and the pattern of the crochet lace. It looks great for day wear and also for a fancy cocktail party. I wore it here with a straw basket I got from Tangier at only 2,50 euros and some beige sandals.

I was wearing:
Chicwish crochet lace dress
Handmade straw basket bag
Sam Edelman beige sandals
