I am so glad I can finally share with you my Tel Aviv experience and that this is the first post for kick starting this year. First of all, Tel Aviv is a great destination to escape the cold European season. We went middle December, but I totally recommend it during the following months, as well. Choosing the hotel was an important part of having a good time there. We’ve first stayed at The Savoy Seaside Tel Aviv that is located at less than one minute walking to the beach. We’ve had a great view from the 8th floor and it was a great mood booster to wake up and look directly at the sea and the gorgeous palm trees from the beach. In the other side you could see the whole city that looked amazing during sunset when the sun went down and the city lights turned on.
The room was extremely clean and relaxing, the breakfast, one of the bests I’ve had, because they have an open buffet with everything you could possibly want in the morning, including avocado. After breakfast they have an open bar with coffee and snacks that is so useful for when you don’t want to leave the hotel and its amazing views to go to the a cafe. At 6 o’clock they have happy hour with more types of wine and during the week also with snacks that go perfectly with a glass of wine.
The weather was amazing when we visited and we even got some tan on the sunbeds from our room terrace. We went walking or with the buss to the old city center almost daily and it was indeed a great stay. I truly recommend you visit Tel Aviv this January and February and one of the best places you could choose to stay in is Savoy Tel Aviv.
