Don’t know if you know but in South Africa the wheel is on the right side and you have to drive on the left side. Totally opposite from Europe and how we’re used to drive. I thought it will be a true challenge to drive through South Africa but they have such good roads that it was actually pretty simple and after few intersections we thought their system is even better. Of course that changing the speed with the left hand would have been difficult because we were used to change them with our right hand, but we have rented a small automatic car from that made everything easy for us.
As always we have checked the reviews and saw that they have the best price/quality balance and chose them. It was indeed a good choice as their cars are super good, clean, they come and pick you up from the airport and drive you back at the end of the trip. Everything went swell and a car is really necessary in South Africa because they don’t have a lot of busses and shuttles and you really need to move around as they have so many nice places to see.
So, next time you visit Cape Town you know where to rent your car from, .
