I chose this name for this post because of this old looking Medina from Agadir that is not that old. It is a representation of the old Medina that was destroyed by the earthquake in the 60’s and was remade in the ’90 by the Italian architect Coco Polizzi. Many locals say that is isn’t the true Medina and it doesn’t have the real spirit of Agadir, but I think it is a good thing and a nice space. It is always nice when people try bringing back old traditions and architecture. I personally love the combination between the old and the new, the cool and the classy and this place is just that, a work of art in honor of the old Medina. It is not the same thing, but after such a catastrophe it is the best next thing.
This place inspired me for a more special photo shooting with some mysterious vibes. I wore my new La Maison de Confiance long lace dress that looks uber chic and elegant. The puff shoulders remind me of a past era while the short lining gives it a modern touch. Just like this place, the old combined with the new gives it a special mysterious feeling. Love also the low back on a black dress. It is always super interesting. I wore this special dress with black stilettos, super classy and a plexiglass clutch, for that modern touch, again an antithesis.
I was wearing:
La Maison de Confiance black lace dress
Kurt Geiger stilettos
Mnologie clutch
Anna Dumitru headband
