Tenerife has entered my heart and I know you can tell that since this is the second time we visit the island this year. We have spent our NYE here and it was a sign that we have to come back.
Our favourite side of the island is the northern part, as the vegetation is much greener and my favourite city of the island is Puerto de la Cruz. The Botanical Garden area and the neighborhood is so peaceful, clean and elegant and we were searching a hotel nearby, as we stumbled across Riu Garoe, that was recently remodeled and looks just impeccable in the pictures and it exceeded our expectations once there. The room was large and we’ve had a pool and mount Teide view. It was more than comfortable with a private little terrace. And my favourite part of the hotel was their amazing garden, so well groomed, the plants there were thriving. Loved also the pool and outdoor bar, super chic. The restaurant had a buffet menu and you could find food for everyone as they had a great variety of dishes. The pool is super large and they have a lot of areas for sun beds and the staff was super helpful, but they also valued privacy, which I loved.
It was such a great stay, that I cannot wait to come back, both to Tenerife and Riu Garoe ❤️
