El Palacito Secreto

We have also been to Merida during this latest trip to Mexico and at a first search on booking we’ve found this amazing secret palacito really close to the city center.

From the outside the building seemed pretty normal, but once we’ve entered their magic door we saw a little piece of paradise. I was simply mesmerized by their interior garden and the design of the rooms. It looked like a big manor that you see in the telenovelas, super elegant and with that Latin vibe. I loved their pool area with all the columns and the tropical plants. Besides from the garden with the big pool, they also have also a little pool with another garden and the entrance seems like a portal to a secret world.

My favourite spot was the breakfast area. They were serving breakfast outside on their terrace with those gorgeous high columns wrapped with some linen curtains that gave the whole place such a romantic/tropical look. It is really hard to explain into words the lovely atmosphere, but we’ve tried to catch it in images and hope our pictures give you an idea of how amazing this place looks like. I loved also that even though the location is really close to the city center of Merida, once you step into their garden everything is so peaceful and quiet, the perfect place to relax. Their vintage furniture and decorations makes you think that in there time has stopped for a bit, no one is rushing anymore. The rooms were also decorated in a vintage elegant style and I think each of them had an amazing view to this magic interior garden.

So after this whole madness ends, you have to visit Mexico and El Palacito Secreto from Merida has to be you first stop, you’ll forget that this problem ever existed once you step foot into their beautiful location.
