My birthday party is postponed this year due to the fact that our new apartment is not ready yet and I want to celebrate my birthday in our new home. I will do that after all the work is done at the end of summer, I hope. But meanwhile let me tell you how I have spent my name day two weeks ago. It was the best name day ever and I got hugged by three elephants. I can’t think anything else can top that.
We were staying in a tent room at Buffelsdrift and we’ve booked a safari ride and went feeding the elephants early that day. I never saw an elephant before and it was such an amazing experience. They were rescued elephants and I’ve never seen more gentle animals. Even though they eat my weight in vegetables every day and are enormous, they are so cute and gentle. I fed them apples and carrots and they gave me hugs afterwards. After this, we went with them at the river where they drank water and fooled around splashing each other.
It was honestly such a beautiful day and they’ve charged me with such good energy. I was wearing the cutest striped dress from Chicwish that matched my playful mood from that day perfectly. Loved the baby doll cut and also the fringed details. It is the perfect holiday dress.
