Doing your nails at home Step by step

I have always been a fan of home manicure. I am a bit of a cleaning maniac and I think this is the most hygienic way of doing it. Besides I don’t always have time to get to get an appointment and get to a salon.

In this post I will show you how I do mine and which products do I use.

First step is to remove the polish you had before, if the case.

Then I cut them at the length that I want and file where I cut in order not to have pointy ends. To do this I use my favourite file at the moment, a glass one from Stephanie F.

After that I push the cuticles with a special tool and cut it with another one, both from Stephanie F.

Then I use the file with to sides one that scrubs a bit the nail surface and the other one that makes it shiny.

The pen from Stephanie F  that you see in the picture makes the skin around the nail look more hydrated after cutting the cuticles.

After you complete all the steps above you are ready, just apply the nailpolish that you want and your nails will look like you just got out of the salon. I chose the Skin Colour one by Pupa.
