Honestly I was eagerly waiting for some more chilly weather in order to start layering my outfits more and use some of those red and burgundy lip colours which I adore. This year I wanted to share 5 fall outfits with you inspired by the iconic Parisian chic style. I have matched my looks with lipsticks from Bourjois from their latest and limited edition collection of lipsticks – “Red in the City“. I just love their semi matte finish that hydrate the lips without making them too glossy, just perfect for fall and ohh, the colours are amazing, or better said très chic!
La marinière look with a striped blouse that shouldn’t miss from any fashionista’s closet was matched with a red lipstick, of course, and I chose the colour Rouge your body from the Red in the City collection that is a red combined with a vibrant tangerine shade that makes it even cooler and more modern. My look was completed by black skinnies, suede stilettos and a red scarf, obviously.
Les ballerines are another item that should be in every French chic lady’s closet.I’m not French, but I wish I was and this is why I always get inspired by the simple yet sophisticated looks of the French women. A simple white midi dress can be easily accessorized with the right ballerines, a red beret and the right red lipstick. For this look I chose Red Belle shade that has beautiful pink undertones that sweetens and gives to my outfit that discreet elegance.
La pochette is another must for a Parisian outfit, especially if it’s red. A mini red bag matched with the perfect dress and red lipstick can surely catch the eye of anyone passing by. Used the Cherry my chérie that matched my bag while having my morning coffee and newspaper and the waiter almost spilled the coffee at the table next to me while starring. Must have been the red lipstick effect!
Les hautes talons can make any simple outfit more fabulous, this is why a true lady must own at least a pair or 30 or 60, but who’s counting? A show stopper are my leopard print sandals that always manage to transform a simple office outfit into an exquisite one. I thought that a shade of burgundy Red outable will complete and give that seductive touch to my look.
Le perfecto is my favourite clothing item for fall. If you don’t have a black leather jacket, you must get one ASAP and match it with this Burgund’it lipstick that has some brown undertones which are just perfect for fall. Match your lipstick with some round sunglasses, a turtleneck and some flats and you are good to go in that trendy but punk style.
