Rose Mary

That I love sparkling wines you have already figured it out, probably. But what I hate the most is ordering a rose to a restaurant and when they bring me something that I cannot drink. That is truly a shame and this is why I have brought with me to Italy this time my absolute favourite both rose and white sparkling wine from Rose Mary. If you haven’t tried this bubbly wine I totally recommend you do, because it is not too sweet, but not to dry with the perfect ‘amount’ of bubbles, it’s just like a ‘drink made from the stars’ as it said in the book I was reading that time in Tuscany.

As maybe every woman does, I have two moods, a cute, sweet one that always wants dreamy picnics with rose wine. I am calling this one Rose. And a more passionate one, that likes to wear fancy dresses and being taken to nice dinner dates and drink a white glass of sparkling wine along with a good plate of pasta. This second one is Mary and she likes wearing satin red. 😛 Together with Rose Mary I have learned to embrace both of them and the next days I will have a challenge for you and want to discover which one of the two are you more, a Rose or a Mary.

The Rose Mary sparkling wine comes from the Italian area of Piemonte and it is made after an authentic recipe, called the Charmat method, that implies the fermentation of the grapes gently touched by the Mediterranean sun. After this process results the finest sparkling wine with a floral and fruity bouquet.

Rose Mary Bianco is very intense, effervescent and velvety, while Rose Mary Rose is a glamorous wine, very fresh and gentle as the petals of a rose.

Meanwhile, I invite you to indulge with a glass of Rose Mary and decide which taste or colour do you like more, because I cannot decide. I think I have to do some more champagne tasting. 😛
