Coco Mat Athens

Well I am in Greece again, in Athens more precisely and I just can’t wipe the silly smile of my face. I feel like I have lived here before because everything feels like home. This might have something to do with the fabulous place we are staying in, very modern and cozy at the same time, Coco-Mat Hotel in Athens is the place to be. You can see below some pictures from our room here and me getting ready for a day of walking on the lively streets of Athens.

Coco-Mat is a very interesting project as it is not a regular hotel. At the first floor of the building you can find a shop where you can purchase all the items that are also in the rooms, such as carpets, pillows, blankets, towels, robes and many other furniture pieces, all made out of natural materials. I have to tell you about the smell in the rooms that is amazing and makes me feel like I have entered a meadow full of flowers, all natural. They have these tiny bags filled with lavender, mint and camomile on the pillows and when you get to sleep the aromatherapy takes you to a different world. So basically, you can test all the items in the room and if you like them you can buy them downstairs.

Now about my airport outfit, this one is a bit more business casual because we’ve had a meeting schedules right after our arrival and didn’t have the time to change. I was wearing a navy blazer,over a cami white top with ripped jeans and Axel Arigato sneakers for a bit of comfort as this is still an airport look. The black croc tote from Concept 15 is the perfect bag for travel or everyday office wear. It looks extremely elegant while you can fit so,but so many things in it.
