PHOTO DIARY | MILAN FASHION WEEK

A few things we’ve learned from Larisa Costea of The Mysterious Girl is that a few subtle changes can make a world of difference when it comes to varying your looks — and it doesn’t hurt to have a mainstay to tie it all in. For Larisa, her collection of Pantos Paris sunnies in every color serves as a staple marquee (once you find something you love, you stick with it)!

Her shades aren’t the only thing in her life that she’s decided to stick with. Husband Adrian takes turns with Larisa on her blog, presenting a weekend style column for the website’s male following. The duo work together the run the website, while Larisa blogs, models and even designs her own clothes.

Today we’re sharing the vastly diverse looks she’s put together for Milan Fashion Week, including casual 70’s inspiration, simple — slightly sporty — minimalism, something gorgeously exotic, two types of tomboy, a fun mix of glam and a classic fall look. With a variant of hairstyles and make-up looks (from stick straight or slightly messy top buns to feminine, elegant waves), we’re fascinated by how she’s able to look like an almost entirely different person every other day. You can see for yourself in the day-by-day play below!

DAY ONE

Larisa’s first look is a 70’s inspired vintage look, with a buttoned denim skirt and lace-up top (both from Romwe). She accessorizes with a huge Michael Kors bag, a clean white MVMT watch and nude colored ankle-boots. Pantos Paris sunnies in ombre blue and brown complete the outfit.

Catching a quick break before the beginning of a show, Larisa recounts her busiest day so far — having had two outfit changes and running around Milan for 4 different shows and 1 presentation.

DAY TWO

Larisa’s second outfit is more simple and basic (the way she likes it the best!), wearing a black vest with a white crop top, black skinny jeans and cut-out leather boots. She enjoys a Moschino under-construction moment just before the show with an urban background from the Milanese streets.

A mini Michael Kors Selma bag serves as a practical and lightweight accessory.

DAY THREE

One of the slower days, Larisa takes some time to relax on a Vespa and attend some afternoon presentations. She selects a Chicwish clock print clutch from Chicwish to go with her gorgeous dress.

The dress is a brocade Chicwish dress in emerald green with an exotic Indian print and glittering embellishments.

Larisa attends a pop up party in a vintage set up before checking on her next two shows.

DAY FOUR

For the fourth day, Larisa tries a more masculine look, throwing on an oversized white shirtdress from Choies, and wearing it two different ways.

She first pairs it with a long denim jacket and gray-colored wool brogues.

Larisa takes a peek at her schedule — as with the first day, the fourth one is packed full.

Starting with the Antonio Marras show, Larisa also has Leit Motiv, Jil Sander and Rafaela D’Angelo lined up before day’s end.

Amazing detail shot of her wool brogues from Miista’s AW15 collection.

She keeps her make-up look bold with deep blue lips.

A half messy bun helps create a balanced mix of masculine and feminine style.

Larisa’s goes sans denim jacket and changes out her brogues for open toe boots for her second look of the day.

She pays a visit to the Versace showroom to view the Spring Summer Collection 2016.

DAY FIVE

Larisa goes back to an empowering feminine look with white and pale pink, combining elements of different styles.

She pairs a long white blazer with ripped denim shorts from Shein, a Front Row Shop sequined top and a fun popcorn bag — a mix of casual-glam workwear with a playful twist.

Her new pair of Pantos Paris yellow transparent sunnies completes her look for the John Richmond fashion show.

DAY SIX

Larisa wears this fall-inspired outfit to Arthur Arbesser’s show before catching the next train to Bucharest. She pairs a faux suede laser-cut skirt with a matching suede jacket, scored from a vintage shop near the Duomo.

She chose her camel colored Pantos Paris sunglasses and a loose white sweater from Romwe to keep her warm as she travels to Bucharest — and then to Paris, for the next round of Fashion Week!
