Day four was another full one and rainy as hell. Needless to say that the heavy rain spoiled again my outfit and the way it should be looking on me.I was wearing a silk and lace dress from Kurtmann.ro shop and a Shein tweed blazer, super thick that really saved me from the cold weather.
I almost missed the Antonio Marras fashion show due to the bad traffic, but I am glad that I made it just in time to see the mixed fabrics and layers from his collection. These are my favourite pieces, very silky and with a lovely floral print, but he had also a lot of fur, leather and plaid all combined in his characteristic style. Also the music was one of the most futuristical that I have head, leading to another dimension completed by the set up with the vintage tubs filled with straws was really surreal.
Leitmotiv and their collection Out of the Woods was something different, wild and floral at the same time. I like how the designers played with the volumes and the embroideries. Here you have my favourite pieces and I especially loved the gold leather jacket that I would wear on top of those princessy floral dresses. The suits were also spectacular and also the contrast between their colours, blue and tangerine.
Rossella Jardini transported us into another century, the action taking place in Paris. The whole atmosphere at the Gran Hotel et de Milan helped the former Moschino designer to recreate the fabulous ’20s. As Rossella says clothes are meant to make us feel well not to follow trends. Couldn’t agree more as I always like to pick the clothes that make me feel comfortable from each collection.
Balidinini, you took my breath away with your colours, textures and mirrored shine shoes and bags. These are just some of my favourite pieces from their collection but I must say that I would be wearing each and every item everyday if I could. The metallic handles of the bags make them so elegant and the furry bag bus, that are my latest obsession at the time are so playful and fun and oh the shoes with the patent shine and sharp heels… are just perfect.
Rodolfo Paglialunga for Jil Sander kept the simple and refined rigour in this collection with the simple tailored coats and adding onlya bit of shimmer. The black and white combination couldn’t miss and the designer also introduced some saggy knits along with metallic leather. The lines of the skirts and double breasted coats are so sharp thay can cut you.
Gianluca Campanolo was an explosion of colours and tweed. You know tweed is one of my fave fabrics, so I would be wearing a lot of these coats and I also like the furry accessories and the sandals over the super dark black stockings, a perfect way to be feminine and wear your favourite shoes during the cold season.
Versace was really exquisite with Donatella’s view of the braking ice. That print with her interpretation and vision on the ice was found in almost allpieces. A lot of neon and pastel combined together in the most futuristic prints. The bag and shoes collection was really nice, as well as her bag bugs accessories. I loved the fabrics, neoprene combined with patent leather. Here you have some of my favourite pieces that I am eager to wear this fall-winter season.
Just Cavalli and Peter Dundas are the perfect match. His young spirit is reflected in this FW collection and you can find very vibrant colours, leopard print ans studded jackets, all very punk and ready to wear at the coolest party in town. The event was very fun and so was the after party where Dundas even made some cocktails at the bar for his guests. The red lisps holding a cigarette were found all over the place and also on some of the clothing pieces.
I was wearing:
Shein tweed blazer (size S)
Zara silk dress from Kurtmann.ro
Jessica Buurman over the knee boots
Kurt Geiger wine red croc tote
Polisemy necklace from Toucan.roZero UV sunglasses
