This day was the hardest Fashion Week day of them all and all this due to the heavy rain. I have still managed to look like a modern princess thanks to my tulle long black skirt from Space 46 that I have matched with a red rose embroidery lace crop top and a men’s blazer on top of my shoulders. I have to say that this special skirt, so beautiful and full was the attraction of the day, not only for photographers but for anyone that saw me walking on the rainy streets with my umbrella and princessy outfit.
Now let’s talk a bit about the shows, that have started early in the morning with Richmond. The collection was amazing and luxurious as always, defining the perfect modern woman with that feminine touch we mustn’t forget of. But the show really blew me away when Eve and Gwen Stefani’s song had started and then I saw Eve entering the runway. Big plus for the nice entertainment.
After that it was time for some Laura Biagiotti Chinese inspiration, that transported us to a different part of the world and introduced some fine silky fabrics next to big knits and fine embellishments. These were my fave pieces.
Then it was the Massimo Rebecchi presentation at the elegant Sheraton Diana Hotel where I have met the designer in person and got to admire the urban chic collection with items appropriate for the fall winter season, very classic but all with a twist, the knit hats were stones embellished for example. A lot of classic items combined with sporty ones in a nice young style, as I like it, contrasts.
Les Petit Joueurs spices up a bit their already funky style with lego pieces and funny eyed bags and introduced some boho influences. Fringes and beaded details appeared giving movement to their cute little bags.
Maryling presented a minimal collection of sharp lines in black an white items, mostly. Also some ruffles were seen, but without interfering with the clean cut of the designs.
Marni eye wear presentation was a vision putting the modern with retro influences sunglasses in a circus from the future show. Love it!
