We wanted to better present you with what happened during  Fashion Week, so we decided to make a post with our favourite picks from all three fashion weeks: London, Milan and Paris. Today we are going to go to the London Fashion Week!

Geometric cuts, non-conventional shaped sleeves, supersized, trims, zippers, sequins and bold colors are just a few words to describe the collections!

The step almost all designers took was to include a lot of velvet into their shows. From skirts to dresses or blouses, this soft fabric gave a royal feminine touch to the collections.

Another trendy idea was given by the cut-out shoulders found in dresses and shirts. What an interesting thing to spice up a dull blouse, right?

Chokers appeared in the 1798’s as a French cultural jewel that was worn by wealthy ladies. Nowadays they are seen as a cool trend, and they can be made of a variety of materials, including velvet, plastic, beads or metal and they are very in this season, as you can notice here.

Back to the shoulders’ area, there were also the rounded shoulders, oversized sleeves that puffed up and gave contour to the shape of the clothes.

However if you do not fancy snazzy cuts like these, you can rest assured, the maxi coats are in, and you can easily bundle up in one. Calf or angle-length coats are very in this fall season coming up.

Ruffles, fringes and feathers were also a go-to this season, placed all over from hips to shoulders, giving an extra twist and movement to a simple look.

These were our top choices, but stay tuned as we follow up with the trends from Milan!
