Fall is one of the best seasons in fashion. I think the temperature is just great and it allows us to be more creative, add layers, wear all sorts of boots and booties to create super interesting outfits. The textures of the fabrics are more rich, they have dimension, the colours are warm and nice and this gives me tons of inspiration everyday. This fall I plan on wearing a lot of skirts and why not shorts and for that I will be needing a good statement pair of black high boots. After I have searched a bit the market for the best shape, heel, leather and price I came across this stunning pair from Aldo. I simply adore these boots and have been craving for a similar pair ever since I was little and saw my mom wear something very similar with so many feminine dresses and also jeans and leather jackets. I am so glad I put my hands on them and to show you how versatile they are I have shot three different outfits wearing them on the streets of Sardinia and Bucharest.
The first outfit is perfect for the festive season that is approaching, especially for a family dinner. I wore my perfect black boots from Aldo with a tartan midi skirt and a burgundy turtleneck. I’ve added a bit of sparkle with my golden star shaped earrings and voila, the perfect outfit to go meet the in laws for the first time, but not only. 😛
Next outfit I would wear for a cute little date with the hubby or maybe boyfriend in your case. The tartan shorts are super sexy, but also a bit nerdy, which I think it’s the perfect combo. 😛 The boots shape nicely the leg, showing just enough and also keeping me warm, which is kind of a big deal for me, because I always have cold feed during winter time.
Remaining in the festive area, the third outfit I think would be perfect for an office party. I wore the boots with a tuxedo suit, which is elegant enough for a party, but also good for the office. The boots are in the same colour and you know how much I love an all black outfit. For me this is the epitome of elegance.
And as the big Black Friday sales approach I want to show you what else is on my Aldo shopping list and really a must for me this fall-winter. Animal print is one of the huge trends this cold season and I simply couldn’t resist these cute leopard print booties and they are in my basket waiting for the big sales. Because I cannot wear heels all the time and because I have started loving going to the mountain I chose also these black biker boots that look super cool and are also comfy. Also in the comfortable area, some patent brogues look super classy and stylish and don’t kill my feet. Back to the heels, I love red shoes and I really needed some red ankle boots in my life. These are just perfect, super elegant and chic and would look great with some new dresses that I have ordered online.
