The Arkadi Monastery is an old Ortodox church that dates from the XVI century and that is situated relatively close to Rethymno and it is surrounded by nature. I really feel lucky that we went to see it even though the weather was cloudy and we feared it might rain. It didn’t and we got to see this architectural jewel of Crete.
I believe during the summer is even more beautiful as they have flower pots everywhere, but I also think that during high season it gets super crowded, so I was happy we got to enjoy the amazing views in silence. Everything looked so serene and peaceful and it was the perfect opportunity for us to shoot this bleu ciel . Loved the cut, the colour and the tulle fabric. It is the perfect option for a summer wedding.
