I’m starting this August summer week with memories from Forcalquier where we’ve been to their marché and found a lot of bio fermented drinks, goat cheese, lavender honey and delicious fruits. I’ve always liked going to markets like this during the weekends and find traditional treats made by the people living at the countryside and loved seeing this French version in Forcalquier. We’ve found some straw handmade chandeliers, decorative trays and so many other beautiful artisanal objects. Unfortunately, we couldn’t bring them home in the luggage so we’ve stopped for some quiche, lavender honey and fruits that we ate during our stay there.
To match this chic French marché I was wearing an apple printed made from the most lightweight cotton fabric. This is indeed the perfect summer dress, perfect to take with you on a holiday as it takes such little space in the luggage and you can easily wash by hand, it dries within minutes and needs just a bit of steam to be straight again. I love low maintenance pieces like this one, especially if the cut is super feminine and chic. Matched it here with , a straw bag and wicker earrings to complete this easy going summer look.
