Scents have a very important role in my life. I have told you before that I always take with me a different perfume, shower gel or body cream in my travels, because whenever I feel ‘travelsick’ I can spoil myself in our bathroom and instantly be reminded of my past gateways.
This week I was missing so badly our travels, because there has been a while since our latest trip and I took some hours off to relax, that reminded me of one of my favourite places ever, Aruba. will always make me remember Aruba and the flamingo island with the lovely scent of citrus and bergamot that invigorates the senses. The shower gel has essential oils of calendula and aloe vera that smooths out and regenerates the skin. This way I got to have few moments of relaxation in the comfort of my home and forgot that we are still in Bucharest.
But yesterday we’ve also had a quick gateway from the crowded city and we went for a few hours at this gorgeous location, By The Lake where I got to admire the stunning nature while pampering with Tesori D’Oriente, Japanese Rituals, that has more intense floral smell, of peonies, my favourite flowers, nicely mixed with woody notes of patchouli, cedar and musk. This smell will always remind me of our French Riviera escape and now it will also remind me of this amazing place.
