If you ask me which is my favourite place in Lisbon, I will not answer saying the name of a building, but I will tell you that I love every street where you can see one of their old trams. I adore them and they instantly take me to a time in history when all of the trams in the world looked like this and when people opened newspapers at breakfast instead of Instagram. I would have loved to live back then, but cannot complain about the present either. Even though we are living difficult times, this kind of problems have existed in every generation and they will only make us stronger.
So, Elevador da Bica is the most beautiful street from where you can take beautiful pictures with their famous tram and the view to the Ocean is also super amazing as the street goes down creating an amazing effect. The whole Bairro Alto has a great vibe and is filled with cool restaurants and shops and you definitely don’t have to miss it while in Lisbon.
