South African Penguins

I’ve been loving animals ever since, but in the last few years I don’t know what’s gotten into me that I want to see them all. I get so emotional and impressed by them that I cannot even explain. Besides from the beautiful flamingos I’ve always wanted to see penguins, but in their natural environment and admire them without bothering any of these gorgeous animals. I’m always grateful for such places that allows us to see the beautiful creatures of this world without keeping them in a cage.

This is one of the reasons we wanted to come to South Africa, to see the beautiful colony of penguins from here. So, one morning we went to Boulders Beach to have a chat with our friends. At the beginning we thought we’d only see them from the viewpoint where everyone was staying, but then we came back from the beach at the entrance where they were starting to come back during evening and we got some closer shots of them. They are such funny beings and don’t even mind people staying next to them but we’ve always kept the distance because we’ve heard they bite.

At the end of the day I’ve looked through all of the pictures and videos of them and realized I have memories for life and that I have lived again on of the most beautiful days if my life and realized it’s not how long you live, but how intense. I love this life and am forever grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and for this Planet and the greatest things I got to see till now.<3
