While I was wandering the streets of Rome last week, I found a shop on Via del Corso that caught my attention instantly. I am talking about Carmens, the Italian shoe brand that I have heard before from my aunt when I was little and about she always said that are the comfiest. At that time I wasn’t listening that much about what ‘adults’ had to say, but that phrase remained engraved in my mind somewhere. This is why I had to try a few pairs. They were exactly as she described them and I was more than happy to find out that they are still available in Romania as well and now in their own shops. They have two of them in Bucharest, one in the old city center and one in Mega Mall. The last one was opened this Saturday and I have attended the event and tried on several pairs as you have probably seen already on my InstraStories.
What I love about Carmens is that they make contemporary designs but without excluding the comfort that is so important when we talk about shoes that we wear daily. This is why the pieces are timeless and an absolute must in any woman’s wardrobe. The suede boots that I am wearing here are more than perfect combining perfectly the feminine shape and the high heel with a great feeling of coziness. I don’t know how they do it, but I could stand on these heels all day long without having sore feet or even worse, blisters.
I have tried at the new Carmens shop many other pairs that I am eager to show you, but it’s better if you pay them a visit and see for yourself which of the many models represent you the best and if I was right about the fact that they are the comfiest shoes ever. Whether you are a high heel, medium heel, tall boots, booties or biker boots girl you’ll definitely find something of your taste there.
