Perhaps the most authentic place we’ve found in Provence was . Although it was extremely hot those days, the moment we’ve passed the door to their garden felt like magic. I am telling magic because all of the sudden we were surrounded by hundreds of white butterflies. I tried to film them, but they didn’t come out as many as they did when we’ve first entered. And even thought it was so hot, the apartment where we have stayed felt as cool as a cave, thanks to the 60 cm thick rock walls. Everything looks super rustic and authentic in the garden, as this place is a family owned one. They plant their own tomatoes, cucumbers and many other vegetables, they have a big plantation of almond trees that looks so beautiful and the barbecue area was my favourite. It was decorated very rustic, but stylish, in the Provencal style. The apartment where we have stayed was super cozy and it combined beautifully old and modern elements, loved the combination between old wood, the brick tiles and modern light bulbs and the couch.
But my absolute favourite moment was one Friday night when they have invited us to dinner where we’ve met the whole family and the other guests staying there at that moment. It was a lovely moment, so chill and the food coked by Isabelle was delicious. She has marinated and slow cooked some chicken with lavender honey the whole day and then her husband put it on the barbecue. Only thinking about it makes me drool and the ratatouille accompanying it was as good. I will always cheerish our days spent here and hope we will come back someday. I truly recommend you this place as it was one of my favourites.
